Not only being part of others’ projects and shows, Minsoo also created her own her own band called ‘Floradora The Explora’ which has 16 talented musicians and performed various times at Berklee.

Minsoo also works diligently outside of Berklee. She often performs as a vocalist for a big band group called “Dan Gabel and the Abletons”, led by Dan Gabel, who was Minsoo's highschool band director and great mentor. She also leads her own K-pop band, “The Lydians”, featuring drums, piano, 2 guitars, bass and herself on vocals. The Lydians have performed all over Boston from MIT, Harvard, Boston University for huge events such as BU Asia Festival, TA Culture Show and Dentists Gala Festival.

Minsoo also has a passion for teaching and has been volunteering in New England Korean School for almost 5 years teaching both Music and Korean to the students there. As a Christian, Minsoo most recently took part in a Mission-trip all the way to Nicaragua to spread God’s love and the power of Music. She is continuously participating in the Christian Mission and was recently selected as a member of the worship team for the 2018, 2019 Renew Christian Retreat, where about 900 members of the christian community come annually from all over New England.

After completing her dual major in Performance and MP&E, Minsoo hopes to build her musical career as both professional vocalist and music producer in the USA and South Korea. She can always be found in the studio whether it be recording vocals, writing her own music, assisting as a music engineer or serving as a producer and arranger, and her work ethic, dedication and drive is directly reflected in her music.
